i am very angry!

yes, i am! i enjoy my job and i know that i am doing good for others but my hands are also tied sometimes. i don't know how long my appointments will take and i can't help it if my clients go on and on. they enjoy my company and like to talk to me so what's wrong with me spending time and listening to them?
i know its unfair to ask u to wait for me and i really don't expect you to. so if you don't want to wait, then next time u just go and do your own things when i have to work lor. u think only u tired meh? i also tired what... sigh.... wait for me a while also must let me see ur face color? its not like ALL my appointments take two hours... sometimes ten minutes, sometimes an hour, sometimes longer... as if i don't wait for u? what about all the times u go play golf? u go play soccer? i also wait and wait but i entertain myself mah... u cannot entertain urself meh??

what's wrong with the people in this country??

in the past one week, i witnessed the following incidents:

  • at a food court in town, guy buys chicken rice from famous stall. cashier gives him change. he stuffs change into pockets but not realising, drops a few notes. cleaner auntie bends down to pick up the notes and to my horrors, stuffs them into her OWN pocket!

  • at a local fast food restaurant, a nerdy teenage boy walks to the 'self-service' coffee/tea refill counter and grabs a handful packets of pepper... 'wow, he likes it hot' i told myself. he turns around and puts those packets of pepper into his pocket. then i realised what's happening! he's 'stealing'!! yes, i call that stealing especially since he did not buy food from the restaurant and even if he did, what gives him the right to take so many packets of pepper *yes, pepper is cheap but that's besides the point*. never mind, he does that two or three more times and when his mum comes over, she asks him to take the 'milk' which, incidentally is known as the 'creamer', not 'milk' you idiot! he grabs another handful and once again, puts into his pocket - deep pockets he has! obviously, my reaction was not fast enough... otherwise, i would have whipped out my camera phone to take a photo of the guilty parties! they walk out of the fast food restaurant with ONE breakfast set meal and lots of pepper and creamer!

  • within the next thirty minutes, another auntie walks in from one side of the restauarant, grabs ALL the packets of sugar at the self-service counter and walks out from the other side. yes auntie, that is definitely STEALING!!

  • to avoid the highway jam on monday morning, we decided to take the service road to work. since it was a single lane road with lots of humps, we were behind a whole string of cars by the time we reached the halfway point of the service road. then came two impatient drivers - first a beemer... he overtook about five cars and only swerved back into the lane because of oncoming traffic from the other direction. next was a subaru who did the same thing. why can't they just following the traffic order and go along with the flow??

honestly, i don't know what to make of these incidents... isolated? i don't think so... it makes me feel ashamed to be carrying the same passport as these people!

i feel like a carrot this week

i was running a temperature of 38.2 degrees celcius on monday morning and because I felt terribly faint, i decided to go to the clinic at my office. unfortunately, the doctor that i normally see at this clinic was busy so i was directed to another doctor. i had the usual symptoms - i felt feverish yet cold, the pain in my body and throat was unbearable and it seemed like i was going to faint anytime. i'd would normally see my cousin (who's a GP) for medication in such instances but since i was at office, i didn't want to spend time travelling to another clinic. i am allergic to certain antibotics so to make sure that nothing would go wrong, i rang my cousin and ask him which antibotics i should get from the doctor and he told me. but no, this doctor still prescribe me another antibotics - worse still, i was charged an exhorbitant $74!! the clinic assistant told me that the antibotics costs $45 (for 7 tablets) - strong dosage, she told me "only need to take once a day". am i feeling better after four days? yes, the fever has subsided (i was given paracetamol as well - so naturally the fever would subside) but my throat still irritates the hell out of me! and now that i think back, she didn't give me anything for my sorethroat!! @#$%^

in a separate incident, i took a bus to a client's place yesterday morning. thinking that it was only four bus-stops away, i hopped on to the first bus that took that route. when i got off the bus, the display showed that $1.56 was deducted from my farecard even though the journey should have cost $0.64. i looked through the bus guide and realised that it was because i took the 'fast forward' service. mind you, this bus stops at all the same bus stops as the other buses that would have taken me there. there was absolutely nothing 'fast' about it. the reason this type of buses charge more than regular buses is that it take the highway at certain point so it supposedly cuts your travelling time but since i didn't 'enjoy' the ride on the highway, why should i pay so much more??
