terrorists? terrible!

Shocking news! Terrorists attack @ WTC in New York City on 11 September 2001! What are these people thinking of?? What kind of point do they think they can make by doing this? It's depressing to hear all those reports and see those horrible pictures and even more depressing to hear that President Bush wants to retaliate by attacking Iraq...

I am not for war... that's for sure and I strongly believe that that is not the way to resolve such conflicts. True, the terrorists are in the wrong and true, they have to be punished... but what about all the innocent people? Doesn't going to war mean that innocent lives would be lost? Doesn't going to war mean that the global economy will be affected? And was it just my imagination or the global economy was already showing signs of 'ill health' prior to what these silly people have done?

I am worried about my friends and relatives in U.S. and I really hope that all of them are safe and sound. I am sure that the attacks affects every single one of us in some way. Being away from my own computer means that I do not have access to anybody's contact to get in touch with them and be assured that they are safe and sound! There has to be just some other way I can get in touch with them...
